Just in from the estate of the 36 year owner. Believed to be factory supercharged with a 4 speed transmission. Car is in great shape considering the paint is over 20 years old with a few typical flaws. Interior is clean with the seams at the top of the rear seats starting to open. All climate controls work and all lights appear to work. All gauges work with the exception of the tachometer and intermittent fuel gauge. Power windows work. Engine is a supercharged 289 that runs good as is but could certainly benefit from a tuneup as the car has been sitting for awhile. The car just received a rebuilt starter and new fuel pump. 4 speed transmission shifts great. Engine runs good with no weird sounds or excessive smoke, etc. Car drives great on the freeway. Unfortunately, we do not know mileage, etc. as there are minimal records with the car since the owner was a Studebaker club member and did many repairs himself. I do know the engine has been out of the car at some point since the black paint on it could not have been done in the car. Original parts manual and repair manual included as well as the owners many notes. Not a perfect or concours car but very presentable and functional. This is a rare car that deserves a good home where someone will drive it regularly. True miles unknown.
