Great looking classic in colonial white/coral sand. Clean car that had the paint and interior done approx. 22 years ago but still shows well. Chrome and stainless were done more recently and look great. The car is going to need the the door lock cylinders and the stainless covers that hide them. Great running 312 4bbl V8 was gone through not too many miles ago and received new bearings, etc. The most recent repairs were new heads with hardened seats. The Fordomatic automatic transmission was also gone through at that time. Bias-ply wide whitewall tires lend to the classic look. Power steering and drum brakes. Some easily reversible 1950’s custom touches include: spinner front hubcaps (originals included), dummy Lakes side pipes, dummy Appleton spotlights, and flamethrowers from the exhaust.
The power retractable hardtop works great as well as the power windows. The car was an original A/C car but that has been upgraded to an ice cold Vintage Air system. The car does not have a heater. Runs and drives great. Current owner has owned the car for 25 years and he bought it from the second owner that had the car since 1970. This car was never meant to be a concours car but has always been a clean driver that gets a ton of attention. The only rust I could find when photographing the car were the tiny spots in the rear floor pans (see pics). Great car.
