This is an excellent driving 1955 Chevy. Mint green and white over a clean body. Painted awhile ago but still shows very well. Chrome is nice and clean. All glass is recent with the exception of the rear window. The interior is done in black vinyl and charcoal cloth. Very nice. Front and rear windows roll up and down fine. Nice stereo system with a Custom Autosound stereo, JL audio speakers in custom enclosures and an Arc Audio amp custom installed in the trunk area. Original fuel gauge works as well as added auxiliary gauges to monitor the vitals. Classic Air A/C is installed utilizing original controls. Billet steering wheel with tilt column. Very nice comfortable interior.
The engine is a 383 stroker with a Weiand aluminum intake and Holley 750 vacuum secondaries carburetor. Jet hot coated headers with dual Flowmaster mufflers. MSD distributor and coil with electronic ignition. Transmission is a 700R4 automatic overdrive. The rear is a stock 1955 unit with 3.70 gears and a recent pinion seal. Engine has great oil pressure. The engine starts, runs and sounds excellent.
The car has GM power disc brakes in the front with drum brakes in the rear. Power steering has been installed. Recent upper and lower balljoints and control arm bushings. Polished American Racing Torq Thrust Rims. Tires are 225/40ZR18 in the front and 255/35ZR20 in the rear. Overall this is a great running and driving classic! Clean California title. Ready to go!!
