| SUMMARY:
The 1948 Pontiac Woodie is a unique vehicle for a few reasons: Last true woodie, Last year for flathead straight 8, and
First year for the Hydra-Matic auto transmission. This car is owned by a friend of mine
that just doesn't use it enough. He bought the car already done. He has multiple cars and is downsizing his collection.
He just took it to Santa Cruz for the Woodies on the Wharf car show without a problem.
It cruises down the highway just fine and can keep up with the traffic as needed. Original unused jack in the original box.
The car was an very solid Oklahoma car that sat in a barn from the 1950's to the 1990's. It was restored with an eye towards originality. Some of the original unrestored knobs and handles were even used to provide the right amount of nostalgic patina to get you noticed amongst the field of over-restored cars at the shows. The car does run and drive great and gets more attention than you can imagine. Very rare model. If you have any questions please call me at 925-899-2648. Please remember I am on Pacific Standard Time. |
