| BODY: Straight body in original color Village Green Poly. Most
paint on the car appears original. I believe it has had some paint work on the rear
of the car.
Nice stainless. Doors open and close great. Chrome has some scratches but is presentable.
Floor pans and frame are great with no rust holes or visible repairs. Appears to
be pretty much all original. |
ENGINE: Appears to be the original flathead V8. Runs great. |
TRANSMISSION: 3 speed manual trans on the column. Shifts great. |
EXHAUST: Factory type exhaust. Tailpipe has some rust on the end. |
| FRONT SUSPENSION: Stock front suspension. |
| REAR SUSPENSION: Appears to be the stock rear suspension. |
| BRAKES: Original manual brakes. Brakes work good. |
| INTERIOR: Appears to be the original interior. Excellent shape.
Even the underdash area is excellent and original. Very comfortable interior.
|
| TRUNK: Trunk pan is in great shape with no visible rust holes.
Some rust color in the pics from water that got under the mat while car was in storage, no holes.
Does come with complete jack assembly and spare tire. The spare tire holddown bracket
has broken away from the trunk pan. It will need to be rewelded. Very nice condition. |
| WHEELS/TIRES: Factory 15" wheels with Firestone 7.10-15 wide whitewall tires.
Good tread. |
| OVERALL CONDITION: Great Driver that
won't get you kicked out of the local shows. |
| SUMMARY:
The current owner recently took this car in trade. It was represented to him as an 8,000 original mile car
and is stated as such on the South Carolina title. I am not sure how accurate that is but it certainly
appears to be a low mile original car. Starts right up and runs great. Incredibly smooth
engine. Transmission shifts great. Drives like a low mile 1950's car.
