Just consigned. Street legal and does not require smog due to the age. With this Jeep being so unique I thought it best to let the
owner describe it in his own words:
"It's a 1974 CJ-5 with a 360 V-8, 30,800 miles. Alcan Springs, Rancho RS-9000 shocks, I believe the diffs are Dana Lockers, they were $1,000 each. Hydraulic winch (off the power steering pump) has never been used. Interco TSL Thornbird tires - 38.5x14.5-16LT. Built on a one-ton truck chassis and is 8' wide. Brakes are hydraulically assisted off the power steering pump, they work very well.
This rock climber is all business and ready for thrilling action. I have spent many thousands on it. I believe the mechanics name is John and he had a small warehouse place, east of Middlefield in Redwood City called "Sports" something or other. I can dig and find more information if you need. He went through the brakes, chassis stuff, shocks, installed a new winch, worked on steering, the "diffs", etc. etc. Anything that was needed, I told him to take care of, period. "
