| BODY: The car is believed to have been painted in the 1980's and
while showing showing some blemishes, the paint still has a great shine. I did notice
some rust in the passenger door jamb (see pics). It appears one section of floor pan has been
replaced and the rest look good. The car has what appears to be a bullet hole in the rear,
I would like to hear that story. All of the glass and the windshield frame are new. |
ENGINE: It is powered by an Art Christiansen built 276 flathead. It has insert bearings and a 4" Mercury crank. Bored to 3 5/16". Isky cam. New radiator. Runs and sounds excellent. |
TRANSMISSION: Original type 3 speed manual. Shifts great. |
EXHAUST: Stock type exhaust. |
| FRONT SUSPENSION: Original type front suspension. |
| REAR SUSPENSION: Original type rear suspension. 4:11 gears. |
| BRAKES: Original mechanical brakes. Brakes work good. |
| INTERIOR: Interior is in good shape. It has a Lebaron Bonney interior kit.
All new wiring.
|
| WHEELS/TIRES: Original type wheels and hubcaps. Ford script wide whitewall
tires. |
| OVERALL CONDITION: Great showable driver. |
| SUMMARY: This car has all the right makings of a great weekend car: It
already has paint flaws so you don't have to be afraid of stone chips or door dings, it has a
nice interior so you dont have to worry about tearing your clothes on seat springs, and
best of all, it runs and drives great, does not even have the rattles you would expect from a
car of this age. Brand new 6 volt Optima battery keeps
it starting as it should. Comes with a custom car cover. This car is a great driver and a great value for your money.
