| BODY: Clean body with mostly original code 980 orange paint.
Front bumper was replaced with a TruFlex unit. A few small blemishes as seen in pics
but overall an exceptionally clean body. All glass is good.
|
ENGINE: The engine was recently rebuilt. The engine is believed to be original but I have no way of proving that. The casting # is correct but the VIN and engine suffix were removed when the block was decked. Excellent oil pressure. Edelbrock intake and carb. Runs great. |
TRANSMISSION: Automatic transmission. Shifts great. |
EXHAUST: Factory manifolds with Flowmaster mufflers. Sounds great. |
| FRONT SUSPENSION: Stock front suspension. Rides and handles great. |
| REAR SUSPENSION: Stock rear suspension. |
| BRAKES: Factory power 4 wheel disc brakes.
Brakes work great. |
| INTERIOR: Original code 422 dark saddle leather interior.
No cracks in dash. Wear on door panels and seats. Original AM/FM radio. Interior is
pretty much unmolested. Windows work good. Original t-top bags. Original A/C car
but compressor and brackets have been removed and are not included. Tachometer is
not working and will need a new cable to the distributor. |
| WHEELS/TIRES: Original 15" Ralley wheels with recent 60 series tires. |
| OVERALL CONDITION: Great driver that is ready for any local show. |
| SUMMARY: This Corvette was bought new on April 5, 1973 at White-Allen Chevrolet
in Dayton, Ohio. The car moved with the owner to California some time in the 1970's and still
wears those blue plates. Runs and sounds great with notebooks full of maintenance history
from new to near current. This is a very nice survivor type car. There are not many
Corvettes from this era that still wear the majority of their original paint. If you have any questions please call me at 925-899-2648. Please remember I am on Pacific Standard Time. |
